Monica Giesbers

As an Account Manager, Monica Giesbers is responsible for the office segment within our commercial team. She started her new job in July last year and quickly felt at home. “Very different from a traditional construction company.”

Can you tell us about yourself?

“My name is Monica Giesbers, I’m 36 years old, and live in Helmond. After studying real estate and brokerage, I worked in various roles within the construction industry. I discovered that sales suits me best, and in that capacity, I started as an Account Manager at Bulsink in July last year.”

“In my free time, I often go running. You can also frequently find me on the golf course or tennis court.”

What does your job entail, and what do you enjoy most about your work?

“Within the commercial team, I am responsible for the office segment—primarily new business, but also maintaining existing business. In short: bringing in projects.”

“I see it as a challenge to further expand and strengthen our position in the office market. I draw great value from my network and actively follow trade magazines and LinkedIn to identify and seize opportunities. My goal is to get Bulsink a seat at the table with potential clients.”

You’re relatively new to Bulsink. How has your experience been so far?

“Very different from a traditional construction company. When you arrive, it immediately feels personal—like a warm welcome. There’s a two-week onboarding program where you  shadow different departments. This gives you a quick and clear understanding of how Bulsink operates and how the departments collaborate. The organization has a flat structure, and everyone makes sure you feel at home quickly.”
