Bulsink Construction & Development is transforming a former retail area on Pieter Vreedestraat, in the heart of Tilburg, into a modern residential environment. Commissioned by a property owner, we are realizing 18 sustainable city apartments, spread across redeveloped commercial buildings and two newly constructed residential blocks.
Redevelopment and new construction
De Pieter seamlessly combines redevelopment and new construction into a strong, urban total concept. Under Bulsink’s direction, existing retail units have been repurposed into loft-style homes, while former commercial spaces are being replaced by apartments with private outdoor areas — ranging from balconies and rooftop terraces to access to a shared courtyard garden.
Built sustainably and intelligently
- Existing concrete floors combined with new CLT (cross-laminated timber) structures
- High-quality façade finishes: timber, zincor, and aluminum
- Fully gas-free: equipped with air-to-water heat pumps and mechanical ventilation with heat recovery (MVHR)
- Solar panels per apartment (minimum 350 Wp)4
