Northpool

Northpool – energy trading now has a new base in Leiden. Bulsink joined forces with Aarts & Co to complete two floors of the building, on which there are 80 state-of-the-art workspaces. The new location has been designed with a strong focus on light, glass and green and consists of multifunctional spaces for energy trading and more. For example, focus work, informal meetings and joint lunch breaks. Aarts & Co was brought in to take care of the design and layout of the individual rooms, with an emphasis on Northpool’s identity. Bulsink was responsible for coordinating the construction process as a whole, including paintwork and the installation of systems, walls, structural facilities and doors. Transparent walls have been used to create the illusion of a bigger space while net curtains provide sound insulation and some degree of privacy.
