OUR HOUSE
‘We noticed that it was going to get quite complex,’ according to Alan Luring from Our House, with a sense of understatement. Our House is the world’s first museum focused on the electronic music culture. Museum, culture shop and club in one, on the foundations of the illustrious iT in Amsterdam. The building work culminated in a complete renovation, including engineering the entire steel construction and installing a new soundproof ceiling. In the film, managing partner Alan Luring, founding partner Viktor van der Weegen and our Bulsink colleague Michiel Horsten talk about the challenges they faced and how they dealt with them.
